“I laughed a lot with him,” he concludes, still moved. “He’s a great actor, a great director. And then it’s weird.”

Michel Blanc died on the night of Thursday October 3 to Friday October 4 as a result ofanaphylactic shockcaused by the administration of a contrast product – a substance which makes it possible to highlight the organs during a CT scan, an MRI or an ultrasound – during a medical examination.

The announcement of his death caused a wave of emotion, not only on the side of the 7th art – many artists, including the actors of the Splendid troupe of which he was a part, paid tribute to him – but also in political spheres: Emmanuel Macron, in particular, saluted an actor who “made us cry with laughter and moved to tears“.
