A hike with dogs, bike lessons and a demo of a small wind turbine. Here are some new activities unveiled Tuesday by Espace Découverte Énergie for its annual open days. They will take place on May 18 and 19.

As every year, there will be rides with donkeys or harnessed chariots, festive and musical entertainment, as well as guided tours of the solar and wind power plants, the visitor center and its hologram. The Observatory will also be open to the public.

The director of Espace Découverte Energie, Moussia de Watteville explains that this event aims to combine business with pleasure.

This year, on May 17, Espace Découverte Energie invited classes from St-Imier to come on site. Nearly 80 schoolchildren will benefit from workshops on renewable energies.

There will also be two visits to the Electro Expo in St-Imier on Saturday. Included in the entry fee is a round trip by funicular to join the Mont-Soleil open days on May 18 and 19. /ehe
