– Traffic restored after truck accident on the A1
A heavy goods vehicle jackknifed around 9 a.m. Monday. The repair work ended around 12:30 p.m. The driver was “slightly injured,” police said.

An accident involving a truck took place Monday morning on the A1, around 9 a.m., reports Lematin.ch. The vehicle – the only one involved in the incident – jackknifed near the Écublens interchange, direction Yverdon-les-Bains. The highway lanes were completely blocked to traffic.
The Vaud cantonal police specify that the driver was slightly injured. A little after 12:40 p.m., she announced that the repair work had been completed. Until then, motorists arriving from the south had been advised to take the direction of Lausanne-Sud, and for others to simply avoid the area entirely.
