The “101 best hotels in Switzerland, Austria, South Tyrol and Germany” awards were presented for the first time on Sunday evening at the Dolder Grand in Zurich. After five editions in Germany, the ranking, created by entrepreneur Carsten Rath, has been extended to the entire Alpine region.

Second in the general ranking, the Dolder Grand, located on the heights of Zurich, is the Swiss hotel of the year. It is also the winner of the Luxury City Resorts category, which recognizes establishments combining the amenities of a hotel complex with the advantages of a classic city hotel.
