Teenager murdered in Ottawa

A 15-year-old boy was murdered after being stabbed on May 2 in Ottawa.

This was reported by the City of Ottawa Police Service on the social network X (formerly Twitter).

The teenager was stabbed while he was near the 100 block of Constellation Drive in the federal capital. The attack occurred around noon last Thursday.

The victim was then hospitalized for nearly 72 hours, before finally succumbing to his injuries. The teenager was a student at Sir Guy Carleton Secondary School, according to the Ottawa Sun.

An 18-year-old man was arrested after the crime. However, the police did not reveal the identity of the individual. The police investigation continues.
