This Sunday, May 5, the Miss Portugal Regions of France 2024 election was held at the Espace Verger du Caire in Cendre, in Puy-de-Dôme. A highly anticipated event every year and which this year brought Clémence Cerqueira to the title of Miss.
Organized by the Clermont-based association Os Camponeses Minhotos, the Miss Portugal Regions of France election brought together ten young candidates.
During the afternoon, each of these women, aged 17 to 25 and of Portuguese origin, paraded in street clothes, swimsuits and evening dresses. They were also able to speak in front of the public and a jury of six people, thus allowing them to choose who among them will be “the chosen one”.

And it was at the end of the afternoon that the name of the lucky winner was announced. Clémence Cerqueira is therefore elected Miss Portugal Regions of France 2024 with a victory at home, since this 19-year-old young woman is from Ash.
This medical student, who wishes to become an orthoptist, will be the only candidate who will represent France in the election of Miss Queen Portugal, in Portugal at the end of the year. This competition is the local equivalent of the Miss France election with a certain difference: the candidates of Portuguese origin come from all over the world.
Léa de Sousa and Léandra Oliveira are respectively the first two runners-up.
