On May 25, at Saint Paul Park, 16 candidates will try to succeed Aaliyah Mantel, Miss Oise 2023.
The Miss elections are popular! This year, the Miss Oise committee received 85 applications for applications, 37 of which were ultimately returned. “It’s a record since 2010”specifies the Miss Oise committee.
In the end, after a casting held on April 7 at the Beauvais town hall (read below), the committee finally selected 16 candidates including Léane Mesnard, 2nd runner-up to Miss Oise 2023 and Cindy Kaufmann, former first runner-up to Miss Beauvaisis in 2018, a competition which no longer exists today.
A trend seems to be emerging since the majority of young women come from small or medium-sized, rather rural communities in the Oise. In our sector, we have four young people selected but no Beauvaisienne. In addition to Léane Mesnard from Hodencq en Bray, we can count on Mauren De Jesus from La Chapelle Saint-Pierre, Cindy Kaufmann from Sainte-Geneviève or Lyna Spano from Tillé.
Casting procedure
- – Passing under the height chart, the rules of Miss France Organization imposing a minimum height of 1m70 without heels
– The individual interview in front of the jury. Jury who spoke with the candidates about their passions, their expectations and their motivation for a competition such as this one,
– The questionnaire of 20 questions related to current events, general culture, the department and the world of misses.
- The preselection casting was composed of Isabelle Tassin, president of the Miss Oise organization, Fred and Gwen, partners and creators of the regional dress for Miss France du Chat Défile, Aaliyah Mantel Miss Oise 2023, Marie and Julie Tassin and Franck Duchaussoy from the Miss Oise organization.
