defeating Latvia in the quarter-final, Canada remained perfect, winning at the last minute by a score of 5-4 against Sweden in the semi-final.

Sweden beat host Finland 2-1 in the quarter-finals.

Liam Greentree quickly opened the scoring with a one-timer from the right circle.

The fans present were then able to witness the Gavin McKenna show as a magnificent raise allowed him to score a 16th point during the tournament. The 16-year-old prodigy thus established a record for the most points by a Canadian during a single tournament.

Tij Iginla kept Canada going just over a minute later. Another excellent restart combined with a good wrist shot from Iginla allowed the Unifolié to take a 3-0 lead.

At 5 to 1 midway through the middle period, the Swedes quietly came from behind. Viggo Nordlund, Victor Eklund and Hugo Orrsten scored three unanswered goals for Sweden, but failed to tie the game late in the match.

Canada will face the States in the final. The Americans, led by James Hagens, are the reigning tournament champions. The last duel in the final between these two great rivals dates back to 2013, when Canada won 3-2. Connor McDavid and Jack Eichel were notably in action that year.
