Several individuals have been wanted by the police since Monday evening in . These “five or six individuals” are suspected of having participated in the beating of a 55-year-old man in the street. The events occurred Monday evening around 6:15 p.m. at 10, rue de la Solidarité in Annecy, near a building lobby.

Exasperated to see his hall squatted

The victim, a 55-year-old man, claims that the lobby of his building is regularly squatted. That evening, he asked an individual who was there to leave. The 55-year-old man admits to having pulled his ear. Still according to his statements, the individual in question then left to look for some older friends of his, before returning to beat him up.

They film the scene

Two witnesses, who were able to witness the scene and film it, notified the police. The victim, who received violent kicks and punches, particularly in the face, suffered numerous bruises, without fracture. The 55-year-old man was taken to hospital for tests and prescribed 1 day of ITT.

As of Wednesday afternoon, the suspects were still being sought and no arrests had been made. Following the victim’s complaint, an investigation was opened for aggravated intentional violence. The investigation was entrusted to the Territorial Crime Division (DCT) of the Annecy police station. According to our information, the lobby of the building concerned is not known to be a deal point.
