She changed careers but maintained her connection with the world of travel. Since February 2024, Mélanie Groenwont has become a travel organizer. A change of direction for this resident of Maché in Vendée who was previously a ground handling agent.

A travel enthusiast

She discovered traveling as an adult. “I became an au pair in Luxembourg. I left with my backpack and took the opportunity to visit many cities, particularly in Germany,” she explains.

It then became a real passion for her. England, Scotland, Ireland, United States, Spain, Italy and even Belgium, she has increased her travels.

So, when she decided to take a break from the airline industry, organizing trips seemed obvious to her. “I was thinking about it since confinement. At the time, the profession did not yet really exist. It’s developing,” she explains.

Travels around the world

It was in February 2024 that Mélanie Groenwont launched her own business. She created Storeesen. She offers support and advice for traveling with complete peace of mind. “I take care of the slightly annoying side for people. I do all the research for accommodation, transportation, activities… But I don’t book. I offer it to people and they are the ones who book it,” she explains.

Mélanie Groenwont adapts to the tastes and desires of her customers. “I’m not here to judge how people will spend their vacation. I help them,” she insists. The travel organizer adapts to all destinations. “There I am currently working on a honeymoon in Costa Rica. I also organize holidays in Corsica. I don’t limit myself to certain destinations. This allows me to discover lots of culture! “, she rejoices.

Accessible and eco-responsible travel

Mélanie Groenwont also hopes to convey her values ​​in her work. “I want to offer trips that are a little more eco-responsible. I also want to make travel accessible to everyone. There are solutions even for the most modest families. »
