Monique Villemagne, vice-president of tourism at the community of communes, introduced the meeting by thanking the volunteers for the quality of their work and their involvement in the maintenance of the 600 kilometers of paths listed in the Departmental Plan for walking and hiking routes (PDIPR) on the intercommunal territory.

Cathy David-Rousseau, president of the CNJ organization association, indicated that, since this year, around forty volunteer markers have been affiliated with the “French Hiking Federation” through her association.

a round of discussion, the leaders of the meeting, Marc Velten and Marion Millet-Neveux (representatives of the tourism department of the community of municipalities), took stock of the work recently carried out by the community on the various circuits (purchases of mountain bike passage, replacement of guardrails, reopening of landscaping, etc.). They also detailed upcoming projects: replacement or creation of reading tables, securing the railing of the tramway viaduct (Foncine-le-Bas), improvement and expansion of the Langouette car park (Les Planches-en -Mountain)… The “walking guide”, made up of sheets describing the different hikes, is also being overhauled (prioritization and updating) and should be available at the Maison du tourisme by the summer.

The meeting was followed by a meal offered, by the community of municipalities, to the volunteers in thanks for their involvement.
