Africa Green Growth Forumas well as a wide range of global conferences, coordinated by the Ecomondo Scientific Committee, chaired by the Professor Fabio Favahighlight, among other things, the Mattei Plan, exports of textile product waste, the rise in the level of the Mediterranean Sea.

As detailed Alessandra Astolfiresponsable de la division Green&Technology de IEG : « Africa Green Growth Forum (Thursday November 7) organized by Ecoworldthe Ministry of Environment and Energy Security and the Mission Structure for the implementation of the Mattei Plan of the Presidency of the Council of Ministerswith the participation of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation and RES4Africawill focus on supporting the Plan Mattei for the creation of a center of excellence in Morocco intended for the entire African continent for the training of experts in the renewable energy sector.

The following themes will also be addressed: energy, agriculture, circular economy and socio-economic development in Kenya. The Plan Mattei supports the development of the biofuels sector in Africa, to which is added support for the use and recovery of waste (used cooking oils), like what was done by Eni, at through the Italian Climate Fund et together with the International Finance Corporation (World Bank Group), with financing of 210 million dollars to support more than two hundred thousand small agricultural businesses.

Among the scheduled events, “Sea level rise in the Mediterranean, the forgotten threat” (Wednesday November 6) organized by Ecomondo and the UfM, “Accelerate blue interregional cooperation in the Mediterranean basin” (Thursday November 7) organized by Ecomondo & Cluster BIG Blue Italian Growth, of the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation. And again “Export of urban and used textile waste” (Friday November 8) organized by Ecomondo and UNIRAU.
