Auvergne will have the right to its Miss Portugal. Like every year, the Os Camponeses Minhotos association is organizing this competition which will be held this Sunday, May 5 at the Espace Verger du Cairo, in Ash. The winner will participate in the Portuguese national competition.
The red carpet can finally roll out. These queens are just waiting to parade. This Sunday the new edition of the Miss Portugal competition will take place in Auvergne.
As with Miss France, the candidates will have to go through the regional selections before competing nationally in Portugal. It is the Os Camponeses Minhotos association which is orchestrating this Miss Portugal Regions of France 2024 election.
Represent France in Portugal
Ten winners compete for this title. They are all of Portuguese origin, are between 16 and 25 years old and all live in Auvergne. Eight of them come from Puy-de-Dôme. While Allier and Cantal will each have their candidate.
During the gala, they will parade in street clothes, in swimsuits and finally in evening dresses. Between each session, the Hemysphere Dance School dance troupe will perform to present some choreographies.
But in the end, there will only be one left. Late Sunday afternoon, a jury of six people will reveal the lucky winner. A choice which will be based on beauty, presence and elocution. The new Miss Portugal Regions of France 2024 will then participate in Miss Queen Portugal.
