Saint-Paul-Cap-de-Joux. The future pedestrian path is progressing

The pedestrian path around Cabrilles which will run along the Agout is entering its final phase. the purchase by the municipality of 9,300 m2 of land of which 5,000 m2 is water (see our edition of November 30, 2021) and the session of a strip of five meters by the community of communes on the width on the land belonging to him, we are therefore entering the last phase of this achievement.

Concerning accessibility, part of the ditch will be sealed off in order to be able to walk safely along the D112 behind the plane trees. This should represent a total cost of 80,000 euros excluding taxes. After a purchase of land for the symbolic euro, these essential developments will represent the only costs incurred by the municipality for the construction of this loop which does not yet have a name. An essential pedestrian bridge will be built using salvaged material.

This loop, which can be covered by everyone, will allow you to reach the banks of the Agout from the heart of the village in order to better highlight them.

The survey has been carried out. You just have to wait for the land registry to assign numbers to these new plots before you can make the purchase. It should only be a matter of days or weeks. JC C
