Fez: a bus hits a taxi and falls into a ravine, 60 injured

Some 60 people were injured in a bus accident that occurred Monday evening in Fez, according to a provisional report from the regional directorate of Health and Social Protection.

The 60 injured were admitted to various healthcare establishments in Fez.

Some 60 people were injured in a bus accident that occurred Monday evening in Fez, according to a provisional report from the regional directorate of Health and Social Protection.

The accident occurred near the Bab Guissa cemetery, in the vicinity of the Medina of Fezwhen a bus hit a taxi before falling into a ravine, we observed on site.

As soon as they were informed, the local authorities and Civil Protection elements went to the site to help the injured.

According to the regional management of the Health and Social Protection from Fez-Meknes, of the 54 injured who were evacuated to the Al Ghassani provincial hospital, eight of them are still hospitalized, including 5 under surveillance and 3 others suffering from fractures.

According to the same source, their state of health does not cause concern.

In addition, six other people, slightly injured, including a child, were admitted to the University Hospital Center (CHU) Hassan II of Fez, medical sources said.
