Let’s go for the Olivier Theater ! This pocket theater, which made waves with a special presentation day last October, has decided to bring forward its launch by offering a pre-season this spring in this small 34-seat theater in the center of town of Saint-Nazaire (Loire-Atlantique). “A few dates to get us used to it,” explains the creator Jacky Allonville. After a first date on April 24 with Mâtiss Morlanne, it’s the turn of The Blue Flower Dressa solo Theater and songs from 8 years old to discover this Thursday May 2, 2024 At 20 o ‘clock.
One show per week until the end of June
For these first dates (at least one per week between now and the end of June), the Nazairean has “thrown a bottle into the sea”, via an ad on Spectable. “I got a lot of responses.” This allows us to offer a fairly eclectic palette, from music to shadow theater, including magic.
The selection was then refined with the particular concept of the Théâtre de l’Olivier, inspired by that of Amap, but artistic version. Spectators pay a subscription of a few euros per month to come on three dates a year. Live shows, presented by professionals.
Our goal is to bring life to the neighborhood, we are also happy to offer shows for families.
On the practical side, “for this pre-programming, as there is no subscription yet, this will be done randomly”.
Show Thursday, May 2 at 8 p.m., 98, rue Aristide Briand. Rens. 06 13 69 06 47.
