One year after a “historic” demonstration under the backdrop of pension reform, the inter-union (FSU, CGT, Solidaires, CNT and Unef) met this Wednesday 1^er May 2024, Gué-de-Maulny park in Le Mans. During this International Workers’ Day, more than 300 demonstrators were present to participate in this village of struggles. They demanded, among other things, opposition to the far right, quality public service, health everywhere and for everyone, increased wages and pensions as well as social protection.

Educational workshops were also set up during this morning. Beyond the demonstration, it’s always interesting to be educational and to know how to explain to people why we are mobilizing.
