Season to forget for the Navy and White who, with the maintenance almost acquired, will be able to focus on preparing for the next season. With this in mind, Bordeaux leaders tend to bet their future on young companies. Indeed, a new hope has just been enlisted in the Girondins’ project.

The 2022-2023 Ligue 2 season of the Girondins de Bordeaux will have left serious after-effects in the minds of the Navy and Whites during the 2023-2024 financial year. Inevitably affected by the failure to move up to Ligue 1 last year, the Bordelais have never been able to find their cruising speed in Ligue 2 this season. Far from the leading group in the race to climb, Albert Riera’s players must do everything possible to ensure their survival during the next day of the championship. Subsequently, the Girondins will be able to switch to preparing for the next episode of Ligue 2 which will begin on August 16. A few months before the summer transfer window, Bordeaux management has already worked to expand Albert Riera’s group.

Angel Chiesa on trial!

The young 19-year-old French central defender has just been tested for a week by the Girondins de Bordeaux. Ange Chiesa, under contract with Paris FC until June 2024, is on the books of several clubs, including the Girondins de Bordeaux. Promising but not yet having exploited his full potential, this week promises to be crucial for the player in order to do well in the Girondins reserve.

If by chance this test brings satisfaction to the Marine et Blanc staff, an arrival could be considered this summer at the end of his contract with the Parisian club. To be continued…
