You have to put everything away. That’s it, the “ young citizens’ worksite », organized every school holiday has ended. It is in music and in good humor that 16 young people from the Hesdigneul youth service and the CAJ (Youth Animation Center) of Le Portel participated in this event for a week.
Work and activities
The teenagers, aged 11 to 15, supervised by facilitators and the site manager, worked for more than 20 hours hand in hand, dressed in overalls and charlottes. They also had fun doing activities like basketball or simulated racing. Result: a 12-meter fishing net containing blue and yellow threads and a wooden decor on the theme of local music was made and will be hung for the Poulpaphone festival in Boulogne-sur-Mer.

“ We played games with elderly people and painted them », says Clarisse Gerard, 11 years old. They also met the Evasion association. She supports elderly people in EHPAD and will receive 1,000 euros from the CAB.
