From August 1 to 4, 2024, the “Jazz dann Port Misik” festival will take place. The city of Port will live to the rhythm of jazz in all its facets: New Orleans, Be Bop, maloya jazz, flamenco jazz, jazz funk, jazz rock and much more. This is the very first time that the Porto commune has hosted this music festival. “Freedom, creativity, sharing, and mixing… Jazz is the reflection of improvisation, energy and vitality,” declared Olivier Hoarau, mayor of the Port.
“Jazz Dann Port was born from the desire to offer the people of Porto and all Reunion Islanders the experience of a major musical event which combines artistic standards with accessibility and conviviality,” indicates the city hall.
“A festival of plural and universal music reflecting the multiculturality of the Reunion population.”

– Six stages, 20 concerts –
On the program for these four days of celebration, a catering and entertainment village, six stages, 20 concerts.
Free concerts or at moderate prices will be offered to Reunion Islanders.
Yemi Alade (Nigeria), Melody Gardot (USA), Pix – L (Réunion), Richard Bona (USA/Cameroon) are among the first artist names revealed.
In the heart of the city several stages: Place des Cheminots (Gransen), La Friche (Scène Friche), Square Pierre Sémard (Scène BANIAN). Strolling New Orleans brass bands and “off” concerts on rue François de Mahy (Sunset Stage), evening concerts at the Kabardock at the end and daily jam sessions (Kargo Stage and KF Concert) will complete the program.
To facilitate parking, parking spaces will be provided and shuttles will be set up to bring festival-goers to the site.
