A prison guard was attacked Thursday evening at his home in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis) by three armed individuals, the Bobigny prosecutor’s office announced to AFP on Saturday, confirming information from Europe 1.

The attackers, “masked, had a handgun” in their possession when they entered the house of the agent who works at the Santé prison in Paris.
The victim agent, born in 1983, was injured by “several blows to the face”and his partner, born in 1989, “is shocked but not injured, according to information transmitted by the Bobigny public prosecutor’s office which specifies that “no other person was in the accommodation at the time of the events.”
Before leaving the apartment, the attackers uttered “threats linked to the agent’s work”, added the prosecution without elaborating further on the content of the remarks made.
An investigation was opened into violence and threats with weapons against a person holding public authority and entrusted to the Seine-Saint-Denis judicial police. No arrests have yet been made.
