David Alphand new 1st vice-president of the Changer Paris group

David Alphand succeeds Catherine Dumas as 1st vice-president of the Changer Paris group. Paul Hatte, Paris councilor for the 17th arrondissement, was elected deputy vice-president.

The Changer Paris group met on Monday April 29 in an extraordinary general meeting to appoint the successor of Catherine Dumas – now president – ​​to the position of 1st vice-president in the person of David Alphand, councilor of the 16th arrondissement of the Capital. Paul Hatte, councilor of Paris in the 17th, was elected deputy vice-president. Catherine Dumas also wanted to appoint Franck Lefevre as special advisor to her, advisor to Paris in the 15th century.

Chaired by Rachida Dati before her appointment to the Ministry of Culture, Changer Paris is the first opposition group in the Paris Council with 42 Paris councilors and more than 100 district councilors. At the end of March, following the departure of Rachida Dati for rue de Valois, the former mayor of the 16th arrondissement of Paris, Me Francis Szpiner, announced that he was leaving Changer Paris to create his own group.
