Welcome to Jones’ World: a world filled with music, poetry and existentialism.
We live in an increasingly insecure world, with levels of anxiety and depression higher than ever. It becomes more and more necessary to disconnect from all this, to face our fears, to find peace and answers to our doubts.
The immersive Jones’ World experience offers a portal to a world of calm where we might be able to silence those noises for just a few minutes. The sets explore the most experimental, avant-garde and ambient electronics, searching for emotions, the inner child and the connection with the darkest aspects of oneself to transform them and see them in the light of day. In this world, the way we listen to and enjoy music becomes an immersive experience that goes far beyond the sounds themselves. The darkness of left-field, lo-fi and down-tempo blends with the light of soundscapes and ambient music in perfect harmony. Infused with particular soundscapes, this world leaves no one indifferent.
But, if a tree falls in a forest and no one is there to hear it, does it make a sound? This philosophical question from George Berkeley inspired the opening of the doors of Jones’ World to the public. Because sharing is living:
