A 9-year-old child fell from the tenth floor of an apartment building in Rosny-sous-Bois on Saturday April 27.
Hospitalized in very serious condition, he is still between life and death this Monday.
An investigation was opened by the Bobigny public prosecutor’s office.
It was around 1 p.m. last Saturday when emergency services were called to help the very young victim. Arriving shortly after at the foot of a building in Rosny-Sous-Bois (Seine-Saint-Denis), the Paris firefighters took care of a 9-year-old child.
The latter, in very serious condition, had just fallen from the tenth floor of a residential building. He was urgently transported to the Necker Hospital – Children Sick, in the 15th arrondissement, where he was still on Monday. “His vital prognosis remains compromised,” informs the Bobigny public prosecutor’s office today.
Ongoing investigations
How did the child fall? Was there intervention by a third party? The Bobigny public prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation to “search for the causes of the injuries”. She was entrusted to the Rosny-sous-Bois police station.
“There is no other information to communicate at this stage regarding the circumstances, this is the subject of ongoing investigations”adds the prosecution without giving further details.
