Besson Chaussures, the multi-brand shoemaker from Auvergne, whose head office is in Aubière, is continuing its development. It has just opened two new stores in France and Spain.
Besson Chaussures continues its expansion with the opening of two new stores in September.
The first store, located in Cambrai, opened its doors on September 18, offering a total surface area of 585 m² and a selection of 2,500 references, including 1,300 shoe models.
The second store, located in Valencia, Spain, opened on September 12, with a surface area of 602 m² and 1,500 shoe references out of a total of 2,500 references.
Besson sells nearly nine million shoes per year and now has 193 stores in France, Spain and Belgium. In 2023, the multi-brand shoemaker announced the acquisition of the Delcambe Chaussures brand in Belgium, thus further anchoring itself internationally.
Founded in 1982 by Jean and Guy Besson in Puy-de-Dôme, Besson Chaussures quickly established itself as the leading French multi-brand shoemaker.
Today, in addition to around forty exclusive brands (many from the historic network), Besson sells more and more national and international brands, opens textile corners (read our article by following this link here) and wants to offer the most responsible footwear possible.
François Gireau, CEO of Besson, announces nine million shoes sold per year, a range of 6,400 references and 20 million visitors.
Besson Chaussures also stands out for its commitment to eco-responsibility, having obtained the Responsible Brand Label in 2023 and the environmental performance trophy for its range of eco-designed products in 2022.
