It is one of the great basketball festivals in our two departments which is organized this weekend: the cream of local clubs, women’s and men’s sections, from U13 to seniors, will try to win the Drôme cup Ardèche in their respective categories.
In all team sports, the seasons end with spring. There are only a few matches left in the championships, each match counts to achieve the best final result. At the same time, certain committees offer cups, competitions which offer an elimination format for each match. In the field of basketball, the finals are organized this weekend in Portes-lès-Valence.
With Laura Savasta, former French international
It’s the Drôme Ardèche basketball committee who organizes this event, with the Portes-lès-Valence club, USCP Basketball. For two days, this Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, different age categories, male and female, will compete for the grail. Note the exceptional presence of Laure Savasta, a former international from the region. She will be present for the U13 Women’s final which bears her name.
