TRANSLANDES CONVICTED – Never Too Much Ramdam

The former boss of the Landes Departmental Transport Authority, Éric Chopin, has just gotten down on one knee in front of one of his ex-employees.

Let us salute the courage of Véronique Lefilliatre who, despite her precarious state of health, has just won her criminal trial in Dax for: “Moral harassment, repeated comments or behavior with the aim or effect of a deterioration of working conditions that could harm the rights, dignity, health or professional future of others. » against his former boss.

Ramdam 64-40 joins to the satisfaction of Véronique Lefilliatre. What relief she must feel to see that justice has finally been done to her, ten years after the events!

Justice could not be blind and even less insensitive given the conditions “ deleterious » which reigned in the company. False testimony, witness tampering and other dysfunctions, Ramdam had told everything in a series of investigations (see the numerous articles that we have devoted to the management of Trans-Landes RRTL).

Will Eric Chopin appeal? This time, it’s not Trans-Landes RRTL that will pay, it will have to break the bank. What injustice for this poor man, himself harassed by the Court of Auditors, surprised that his salary exceeded 12,000 euros per month to which were added more than 22,000 euros in mission expenses, but with public money, we don’t count (see our article: “In the Landes, buses called contempt “)

Certainly, while Véronique Lefilliatre had just won a first civil trial in December 2017 before the Pau Court of Appeal, Éric Chopin, interviewed by France Bleu Gascogne in 2018, conceded after some verbal coaxing: “ I’m not saying that everything is good at the RRTL »

But he assured that he did not believe in the facts of harassment “ You can disagree with your sector manager, with your hierarchical manager and vice versa, but for that to constitute harassment, I am surprised.“.

Obviously despite the trials that punctuate the life of Trans-Landes RRTL, Eric Chopin has difficulty admitting reality.

Let us hope that Véronique’s latest criminal judgment will have clarified her ideas and, above all, made her understand what her responsibilities are. Remember that this trial is in addition to other trials lost by Trans-Landes RRTL and others still in progress.

Let us also remember that Trans-Landes RRTL is a public company which governs our public funds. As such, the political managers of this public company, all informed, should have intervened. No one lifted a finger. Fortunately, Justice did it for them.
