The director of communications at Université Laval (UL) confirmed the information on Friday. However, she cannot reveal details regarding this dismissal.

“It’s part of the employee’s personal file. I cannot reveal any information, regardless of the file,” underlines Andrée-Anne Stewart.

The effective date of this dismissal is currently unknown. On the UL website, the name of Patrick Provost cannot be found in the employee directory.

The biochemistry researcher has already been sanctioned several times by the university. He was even suspended three times: first for his public comments against messenger RNA vaccines and then for having granted media interviews during said suspensions.

Patrick Provost is currently in arbitration hearings before a court as he contests the sanctions, which left him without pay for several months.

The researcher continues to assert that COVID vaccines carry unacceptable risks of side effects for children aged 5 to 11. However, public health authorities in the majority of countries around the world have judged that this was not the case since they recommended vaccination of this age group.

The professor maintains from the beginning that he is the victim of censorship from his employer, given that he has different thoughts from the popular masses.

Since the start of this battle, the teachers’ union has supported the researcher.
