Who would have believed such a turnaround? 4th in the general ranking with 19 points behind the Union before the points were divided by two, Club Bruges completely blazed in these Play-offs.
Now, here they are 2nd, just 2 points behind the leader, RSC Anderlecht. The Blauw en Zwart are in an excellent position to try to win the title.

“Today, we are scaring everyone…” declared the Bruges resident Hugo Vetlesen to the RTBF. “If we are the best current team in Belgium? Well yes!”

“They always have a chance, but they knew the rules before the season: I too wanted to be 9 or 10 points ahead before the play-offs,” Vetlesen continued.
