Nestled in the unique and green setting of the Tourelles de Vernon park, 18 groups will deliver their bewitching energies to celebrate this anniversary which, far from rejuvenating us, nourishes our passion! », Promise the organizers.

Announcement evening

Gathered for an announcement evening, they had planned things big: pedestrianization of rue Carnot near Barney’s groove shop, video teaser to reveal the headliners and concert by the Ebroïcian group Métro Verlaine to round off the evening. .

“Rock in the Barn has had a loyal following for 15 years. We can say it, we have a real rock festival in Vernon,” rejoiced François Ouzilleau, mayor of Vernon, in the preamble, without forgetting to thank the services and volunteers who work to ensure the smooth running of the event.

Electrical programming

Faithful to its DNA, the festival promises “a electrical programming“, which will bring together both groups local And international.

The pearls of the regional, French and international rock scene, mixed with more tender or unclassifiable resonances, will make the walls of the castle shiver like an impetuous torrent.

Rock in the Barn

As for local artists, we will find the essential DJ Barney. Other Normans will be present: Samba de la muerte, a pop group from Caen, the Rouennais from Unschooling (post-pop) and Ellah a thaun, the singer from Vire with pop-rock sounds, Maddy Street, but also the Le Havre DJ Vif Money.

Other French people complete the squad: Ultranouk, Carriegoss, Dude Low, Augusta, Johnnie Carwash, Péniche, Ditter, JC Satàn. Without forgetting the international artists: Deeper (United States), Deadletter (England), Divorce (England), Loverman (Belgium), Vlure (Scotland).

“There are old people and new people: our goal is to please the faithful of the public but also to new”, underlines Léna Guerard, event programmer.

For this fifteenth anniversary, Rock in the Barn would like to appeal more to younger generations. “We would like to bring young people back so we have integrated the festival into the Culture Pass,” explains Agathe Plaisance, director of Rock in the Barn.

Prices: €54 two-day pass; €61 two-day pass + camping (preferential rate for residents of Vernon on physical sale upon presentation of proof).
