Thanks to her participation in the Mini-schools of health sciences projects at Laval University and the ULaval Nounours Hospital, a medical student from Saint-Charles Borromée, Juliette Breault was honored at the last Gala of student life at Laval University.
His team received a $1,000 grant in the “Extracurricular Project” category.
The Health Sciences Mini-Schools project organizes exchange stays between students from different health sciences fields at Laval University and members of Indigenous communities.

Through medical consultations for stuffed animals, first aid demonstrations, as well as simulated surgeries and medical imaging, future doctors educate children who gain a practical understanding of the different facets of health and the importance of preventative care.
