For this new edition of the European Heritage Days, entertainment, music, fun activities and discoveries are on the program. Here are five ideas.

In the footsteps of Alexandre Dumas at the Château de Monte-Cristo

Overlooking the hills of Port-MarlyTHE Castle of Monte Cristo was the residence of the best-selling author Alexandre Dumas. This weekend, let yourself be guided between the walls and the garden of this monument and discover the secrets of the writer. From 2 p.m., an actor will intervene to reveal the anecdotes of the author’s life.

Experience the Royal Opera on stage

The Opera of King Louis XVwhich gives more than 100 performances each year, will host various events this weekend. The opportunity to discover the atypical musical instrumentsbut also the reconstructed dresses of Marie-Antoinette. Versailles opens doors kept secret

Heritage Days even bring music to new places. The Alliance Orchestra, composed of a violin, viola, cello and flute, will give two concerts in the garden of the Villa Savoye in , but also in another building: the church Saint-Martin in .
