Accumulations of 80 to 100 mm are expected locally, and up to 150 mm in the Bastia region, in Castagniccia, in Cortenais and in Nebbiu. A return to normal is expected this Wednesday morning.
According to La Chaîne Météo*, the former depression Boris, which has caused violent storms in central Europe in recent days, is gradually moving towards Italy. This Tuesday afternoon, in addition to Corsica, thunderstorms are also expected in the Alpes-Maritimes and in the Var, to a lesser extent. The Alpes de Haute-Provence and the Bouches-du-Rhône, as far as Marseille, may also be affected.
