On foot or by bike, take the time to discover the wealth of villages… The communes of Bourron-Marlotte, Montigny-sur-Loing and Grez-sur-Loing (Seine-et-Marne) join forces for the 4e edition of the Patrimoniale, Sunday September 22, from 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Heritage: four circuits to discover the villages

This event, organized as part of the European Heritage Days, offers a cycle ride (19 km) and three walking circuits (5, 14 and 17 km), starting from the three town halls.

“Originally, the idea of ​​this meeting was to take the time to discover our villages, by practicing a sporting activity,” remembers Stephane Colaselected to Montigny-sur-Loingat the origin of the event. If the president of the Vélo Club de Fontainebleau-Avon had initially imagined a cycle ride, the meeting is now reinforced by walking routes.

Many monuments to discover

“The Patrimoniale allows you to discover the richness of our heritage during a friendly day,” adds Myriam Lottmunicipal councilor in Bourron-Marlotte. In this village, participants will be able to discover the Saint-Sévère church, the town hall-museum, the Monier house and its painting room or the workshop, a place for artistic practices.

“In Montigny, walkers will see the church and the presbytery, the panorama of the banks of the Loing, but also the path of the village’s illustrious personalities,” lists Stéphane Colas. “In Grez-sur-Loing, participants will be able to admire the Ganne tower, the old bridge, the priory or even the town hall-museum and the alleys named after artists who passed through the village,” explains Aude Jolymunicipal councilor in Grez-sur-Loing.

The cycle route (19 km) will start from the three villages, as will the 17 km circuit. The 14 km hike will start from the town halls of Bourron-Marlotte and Montigny-sur-Loing and the 5 km hike from the town hall of Grez-sur-Loing, to discover the ponds of the Natura 2000 area.

The meeting is free, without registration. Free departure on the three sites.
