This is a remarkably astonishing building! Built between 1966 and 1970 by the architect Jean Dubuisson, the villa Weil from the Domaine de Frapotel, located at Pontpointin Oise, will open its doors to the public on Sunday September 22 2024, for the European Heritage Days.
A unique opportunity to discover this house as elegant as it is incrediblein the middle of nature, very close to the Halatte state forest.
A minimalist architectural style
Widely open to the landscape which surrounds it, the Weil villa has a minimalist and particularly modern architectural style.
The villa was designed with a constant concern for great legibility of the plan and extreme simplification of the volumes. The house is in keeping with the topography, its silhouette fits into the landscape.
Its architect, Jean Dubuisson“has revolutionized the representations, uses and construction methods of mass housing by working determinedly for more modern housing”.
