As the government points out, splitting classes reduces the number of students in each class and therefore improves the quality of education. This in particular allows for good learning of the fundamentals. According to the latest data, there were exactly 7,086 students enrolled in in split classes in the final year of kindergarten, CP and CE1. For the moment, 85.6% of classes have 24 students or less in the department, while the State is aiming for 100%.
