At a time when the baguette is elevated to the rank of national treasure by UNESCO, is embarking on a quest to conquer the record held by Italy since June 16, 2019. Twelve bakers, including five locals, will put their skills to the test to knead, shape and bake a baguette in a rolling tent oven exceeding 132.62 meterswith the only ingredients being wheat flour, water, yeast and salt.

Cooking this giant baguette, which must reach a thickness of at least 5 cm over its entire length, will take around 8 hours. At the end of the test, the result will be submitted for approval to the famous Guinness World Records.

Hosted by Alex Goude, this Suresnes Baguette Show promises not only to push the boundaries of baking, but also to warm hearts thanks to distributions of baguettes to the homeless (Sures association Celije) and Nutella tastings organized by Ferrero, partner of the event. Activities will also raise awareness of bakery know-how.
