Le Solstice, a new restaurant with an “all you can eat buffet” formula on rue Bersot in Besançon – macommune.info

The Solstice and the Equinox are now side by side on rue Bersot in Besançon. If the first is a newly installed restaurant, the second is a bar run by Léa Rossie and Alex Momati. “The name of the brand was chosen to give a nod to the bar.” Alexis explains.

A formula, local products and cooking with “grandmother’s” recipes

Good dishes with good ingredients. This is the spirit that the partners wanted to highlight in order to send their guests back to their childhood, to their grandmother’s kitchen. If the dishes are made with love by Alex, a chef trained in Poligny, they are also chosen through short circuits: “We work with the Fontain charcuterie, with the Chevillotte breeders for the meat part. We have a market gardener in Bregille. The eggs come from Chemaudin. We want quality and as much local as possible,” Alexis explains.

Regarding the menu, a single all-you-can-eat formula is offered at a price of 35 euros (starter, main course, cheese, dessert) but a summer buffet will soon be set up with a “more suitable” price.we are told.

A catering-event part

In addition to the restaurant, the three friends wanted to keep the spirit “caterer” premises previously belonging to the “Kaf’des vieux amants”: “We can adapt to requests. With the catering side, we wanted something fun… For example, we can travel with a brazier.”
