It was in the new premises of the France Alzheimer 29 association that a demonstration of sympathy around the retirement of Nathalie Fournier, psychologist of the departmental association, took place on Monday April 29, 2024, in Brest.

Discovery of the new premises

Previously, a working meeting took place with around twenty volunteers from North Finistère, who were able to discover the new premises, at 247, rue Jean-Jaurès, on the corner with rue Inkermann.

On behalf of the structure, Françoise Thomas, president, and Daniel Pyatzook, vice-president, thanked the newly retired for her quality work with patients and caregivers, and for her involvement with volunteers, since 2009.

“Find the right and comforting words”

It emerges from the two speeches that Nathalie Fournier “brought a lot of well-being, compassion and empathy to families” by fully playing her role as psychologist, always listening and “knowing how to find the right and comforting words”.

Very moved, Nathalie Fournier, who received many gifts and flowers, thanked the audience and announced that she remained in contact with the association, because she will join the group of volunteers.
