102 decibels of pure happinessmore than 10 hours of concertproposed by 6 artists…
Every year since 2015, when summer has barely started and we are emerging from the euphoria of the Fête de la Musique, this small village in Noyonnais (Oise) sees its population multiplied by 10 for two days on the occasion of Concert nights of Porquericourt (Or NDC2024).

Julie Pietri, Mixed CollectiveMichael Jones, or even Picardy Fatals… This modest-sized festival has no equal in attracting at least one artist each year who sells tickets.

So it’s still a very beautiful platter that the Festi’prod association managed to bring together for this eighth edition, scheduled for June 28 and 29, 2024

The “voice of Johnny” headlines

Jean-Baptiste Guegan, the man nicknamed “the voice of Johnny Hallyday” will perform on the evening of June 28. “He is an artist who was spotted on M6 in the show La a un incredible talent in 2018 and which, today, filled entire Zéniths”, underlines Magaly Courtois, the president of Festi’prod.

A tribute from Indochina spotted in the North

Faithful to its favorite formula, NDC2024 will offer “A mix between recognized artists, quality local Picardy artists, festive artists and exceptional tribute bands”.

This is how the British Daniel East will cover the biggest titles ofEd Sheeran during that same evening.

“For the day of Saturday June 29, we also found a cover band ofIndochina, Morphine. A tribute that the festival teams had spotted beforehand in a small festival in the North of France,” adds Magaly Courtois.

Mister Covera Belgian cover group “fairly little known in France but very popular in Belgium”, will return to Porquéricourt this year, after a first visit in 2022.

The Porquéricourt sports field will thus become “an open-air discotheque for two hours” according to Mayor Fabien Barège, who has supported this festival since its beginnings in 2015.

“It’s super festive with them. People are dancing, singing. And what’s more, there is a musical quality that is there.”

“In June we will be sold out”

Haven’t purchased your tickets yet? Don’t wait too long. A little more than half of the places put on sale have already found a buyer, even if there are still around 1,200 up for grabs. “And the counters go up very quickly, because people start a little earlier each year,” observed Magaly Courtois.

“Given the speed at which things are going this year, we will most certainly be sold out in June,” confirms the mayor, Fabien Barège.

Because in addition to having become an essential festival in this sector, the Concert Nights it is also an attractive pricing policy, which is attracting more and more festival-goers. There were still 4,300 last year, welcomed by around 70 volunteers.

In the Pays Noyonnais, things are complicated economically this year. The hope is therefore that local people can come and participate and enjoy an evening at low prices.

A festival on a human scale

The festival, which has seen its attendance increase almost tenfold since 2016 and the welcome of its first national headliner (Julie Piétri), is keeping its head on its shoulders. “It’s a festival that remains on a human scale, and which could be compared to the Murmure du Son in Eu/Le Tréport,” describes Fabien Barège.
