She is over 43 years old but this is the very first time she has organized this type of meeting. The Boute Selle association is organizing its first open day on Saturday January 25, 2025 at the Youth Point in Chambourcy ().

The association bringing together fans of figurines, models, historical and fantasy strategy games will put the spotlight on “Lego® in board games”. On the program: initiations, participatory demonstrations and games between players to put the skills acquired into practice.

The creator of Bricks Wargame as guest of honor

For the occasion, she will welcome Romain Delperdange, the creator of Bricks Wargame, an original miniatures game using the famous bricks created in the early 1930s in Denmark.

“It’s a game that is suitable for young people aged 10 and over with fairly basic rules,” says Mathieu Bouline, a member of Boute Selle. But, very quickly, as soon as we complete them a little more, it also adapts to adults because we come back to Wargame standard with its complexities, strategies, and so on. One of the advantages of bricks is that everyone builds what they want, how they want, the universe they want. »

“In the game, there are two rules. We can play with more medieval fantasy type games or more futuristic, modern games, because the rules cannot be the same if we use a bow and a sword or shooting weapons. »

These open days will also, of course, be a good opportunity for the public to discover this Boute Selle association which has several sections.

Four sections

“Since its origins, the club has made figurines – which are the equivalent of toy soldiers when we were little – from 15 mm in paint, up to 90 mm. It can be anything from fantasy to historical figurines. »

Tanguy Hervé, president of the association for 10 years

Boute Selle is also a model section whose members were brought last year to participate in an exhibition in Ver-sur-mer as part of the 80th anniversary of the landing.

“They asked us to make models of everything tanks, etc. at 1/35th. We also offer two other sections. One is focused on miniature board games like Zombicide, Warhammer 40,000 or Saga, for example. »
