The big family of Married at first sight is still growing. A few months ago, Florian had revealed on social networks that his partner, Meghane was expecting a happy event. An announcement full of joy for the one that M6 viewers had discovered in 2017. At the time, Florian had decided to participate in this extraordinary experience, convinced by the idea that science could help him find the soulmate.
The show’s experts then determined that Emma, a candidate 83% compatible with him, would be his ideal partner. Without knowing each other, they agreed to marry blindly and try the adventure. If their story seemed promising on screen, the couple ultimately chose to divorce a few months after the end of filming. It is away from the cameras, and in a much more traditional setting, that Florian finally found love. Today, he is enjoying a new major stage in his life: he became a father.

“The most beautiful thing”, Florian moved in front of his son
It was on social networks that Florian shared the big news with his community. “A Tuesday like no other… Mahault. January 14, 2025”, he wrote in the caption of a photo revealing his happiness. He took the opportunity to explain the choice of his son’s first name and express his emotions: “[Maho] = strength and fight, a name that seemed obvious for our little miracle baby, who we fell in love with at first sight. We weren’t lied to, it’s the most beautiful thing that can happen to us in life…”

If the first name Mahault is so symbolic for Florian and Meghane, it is because they had to go through a real obstacle course to become parents. The couple resorted to at PMA (medically assisted reproduction), an experience that Meghane had mentioned during an interview for the podcast Entre 2 Bibs. She then confided that after a year of unsuccessful attempts, they had decided to undergo medical examinations. “It came out for us that it was the gentleman’s sperm which were not of good quality (…) and which did not make it possible to produce a quality embryo”, she had explained.

Faced with this diagnosis, the doctors suggested they opt for artificial insemination or IVF. The couple had chosen this last option, considered more promising. Fortunately, the treatment worked on the first try, allowing them to realize their dream of becoming parents. Today, Florian and Meghane are finally enjoying their new life as a threesome.
