“Unusual”, “unspeakable”, “unclassifiable”. This is how the show by Boris Vigneron is described, at the same time singer, musician, actor, circus performer and dancer. His show is, in his image, original.
It all starts with the arrival on stage of Norenjiv, a charismatic artist with his top hat and long hair. He presents himself as a star of singing and electronic music (halfway between Michael Jackson and Daft Punk). But gradually, his machines fail him, a series of bugs shake his show and his confidence. The mask falls, his false voice, his false hair… The spectacle becomes uneasy. When he wants to resume the course, nothing works as it should.
Wild
As the musician’s concert gets out of hand, the artist’s wild state gradually takes over and the show turns into a poetic reflection on man’s place in nature.
In Canopy!Boris Vigneron uses the stage as a playground where dance, acrobatics, theater, philosophy and music mix to create an immersive atmosphere which transports the audience to the heart of the canopy, this upper level of the forests, in direct contact with the free atmosphere, where life abounds and regenerates. The artist’s boundless creativity gives life to a moving and funny eulogy of reconciliation with nature.
