In Quimperlé, the cultural season of this first quarter of 2025 still promises eclectic moments of music, theater, conferences and meetings of all kinds for everyone and of all ages, often linked to local, national, or even international events.
A rich program
The municipality is collaborating with the Taol Kurun festival at the start of the year by offering the documentary “Théret”, which follows the real story of a young boy locked up in the Belle-Ile en mer children’s penal colony at the end of the 19th century. (La Bobine, January 19, at 2:30 p.m., followed by exchanges. €4.50).
The media library will host a conference in Breton with simultaneous translation into French on the water and rivers of Brittany (media library, January 21, at 6 p.m.).
The concert by Maar, a female trio which mixes Breton, Occitan and Venezuelan cultures, will be held on January 25, at the Espace Benoîte-Groult (€5, 11 or €15).
As part of the festival under the eyelids of women, Noémie de Lattre will perform her show “L’harmonie des genres”, a feminist plea without moralizing and which does not reject men (March 16, at 5 p.m., at the Espace Benoîte-Groult 5, 16 or 19 €).
Theater and music for children, with “Mon Robert” by La caravan cie, which features the impertinent and offbeat dive of a clown (Anne Tifine) into the words of the dictionary (January 25, at the media library, in the part of reading nights, from 8 years old).
Tilt plays, in every sense of the word, with the cult elements (games, TV show, etc.) of the collective memory of the 80s (February 9, at the Benoîte-Groult space. €5).
Finally, the heritage cycle of La coil dedicates this quarter to three masterpieces of the Italian western with “The great silence”, on January 27, “My name is nobody”, on February 6 and “El chuncho”, on March 23 (7.50 or €6. €4 under 14s).
