The first meeting of the year of the Quimper association Polarité[s] is scheduled for January 16: it is a musical journey that awaits fans of rock, blues and folk with the trio Delgres, followed by the Breton-language voices of the group Kaolila. On January 31, Chloé, discovered on the show The Voice, will present her poetic and lyrical songs.
On February 8, it’s time for modern metal with Horskh and No Retry. On February 22, it will be the turn of the Guitare Night Project guitarists to perform on stage. On March 6, the student musical springboard “Les Pétarinettes” will honor young talents. Rap enthusiasts will also be served on March 8, with the arrival of Benjamin Epps and the duo Plouz & Foen. Finally, on March 28, it’s time for psychedelic rock with the groups Satellittes and Mansion’s Cellar.
Valentine’s Day, February 14
On the festival side, the Qiff (Quimper Images and Films Festival) will be at Novomax on February 28 for its regional music video competition and the electro evening which will see De Laurentis, Everyday in June and Voltaire perform during the Qiff Party. The anniversary of Vector magazine, dedicated to rock and metal, will also be celebrated at Novomax on March 22. The opportunity for fans of the genre to celebrate 5 years of the media with the groups Locomuerte and Hipskor.
Another date highlighted by the program: Valentine’s Day, February 14. This rock, electro and techno evening with Akira & le Sabbat, TedaAk and Lula666 will tackle the Queer cause without taboo and will offer information and prevention stands. A moment of commitment and reflection, far from clichés, to support diversity and the fight against discrimination.
