“They are tired of being ghoster (when a romantic partner stops responding to messages and disappears without explanation, Editor’s note), having insincere people, having fake profiles, not being respected.”
Faced with this observation, Karine Le Marchand decided to launch her “slow-dating” experiments. A concept which consists of “meetings for an entire day, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with few people”. “There will be a maximum of 100 people in these slow dating events.” And to specify: “It will be by age groups (…) There will also be meetings for gays and lesbians.”

“We are going to talk and put the church back in the middle of the village when we talk about seduction. It will also be able to spark discussions between you and, as the day goes on, people will finally meet for real. We put humanity back into this love quest.”

The meetings will take place at the Domaine des Belles Souls, a residence renovated by Karine Le Marchand in Aix-en-Provence where she offers “holistic therapies”, according to the official Instagram account of the place. Participants will be “pre-selected”:
“All our teams have to call you, check your identity, check what you are doing, ask for your criminal record, check by Facetime that you are the person you say you are…”
Applications are not yet open, but Karine Le Marchand announces that the first meetings will take place in May.
