Could we hope for a better launch for Men's Fashion Week than the Louis Vuitton show? This Tuesday, January 21, the Cour Carré of the Louvre saw the parade of the new collection by Pharrell Williams in collaboration with Nigo, the artistic director of Kenzo. Long-time friends, the two artists have boldly combined their know-how and their respective worlds to offer a multicultural wardrobe that seems to signal the end of streetwear for good.
Inside the enigmatic black box installed in front of the Louvre pyramid, many celebrities jostled to catch a glimpse of the models strolling down the catwalk. In the front row, the 7th art once again proved its attachment to fashion, with the presence of actors Omar Sy, Pio Marmaï, Adrien Brody, Bradley Cooper and even the Korean Gong Yoo, star of the series “Squid Game”.

Beyond his already memorable mark in fashion, Pharrell Williams is a musical monument. Since his first Vuitton show in 2023, imposing figures of song have made a place for themselves in his audience. This new Paris Fashion Week was no exception with the arrival of major rap figures. The two brothers No Malice and Pusha T posed together on the Photocall, a few meters from Travis Scott, A$AP Nast or even Future or J-Hope, from the group BTS.

-Athletes in the front row
In addition to cinema and music, another sector has established itself in recent years among Louis Vuitton's audience: athletes. In the front row of the parade, French rugby player Antoine Dupont swapped his crampons for a pair of “Sneaker LV Skate”, a flagship model of the brand. Sitting next to Bernard Arnault, young Victor Wembanyama did not go unnoticed with his large Louis Vuitton bag and his black sunglasses.
After parading on the Avenue des Champs-Élysées last September for the “parade of champions” at the end of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, Teddy Riner this time gave way to the models. Alongside his wife Luthna Plocus, the sportsman attentively attended the show.
