The library has just set up an exhibition “Laval sous la mer”, on loan from Laval Patrimoine and in partnership with the science museum. This exhibition is structured in two parts, one for adults and the other for children.
The presentation is made up of information panels on the underwater world and presents fossils which will serve as models.
Every month, from January to April, a different workshop will be offered focusing on this theme. In January, this Wednesday 22, at 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., two fossil casting workshops are suggested. These will be done in connection with the specimens present in the exhibition.
On Wednesday, February 26, at 3 p.m., interested people will be able to take part in a virtual tour of Laval and its river, using 3D glasses. These two meetings are accessible to those over 8 years old and require reservation.
On Wednesday, March 26 from 4 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., Stéphane Hiland of Laval Patrimoine will host a coffee talk on relations between the city of Laval and navigators. This moment is open to all adults.
-“To close this theme, on Thursday April 17, we will go to Laval for a guided tour of the Alain Gerbault spacespecifies Luce Lopez. LRegistrations must be made in advance at the library in order to prepare for the organization of this day. »
