End clap for La Rochelle Fiction Festival 2024 ! This Saturday, September 14th, the closing ceremony of this 26th edition took place, during which many prizes were awarded to the works selected by the jury chaired by Thierry Godard. But before discovering the rewarded fictions, many stars walked the red carpet, to the great delight of the photographers. We were notably able to see Michael Youn accompanied by his partner in his new series Flashback Constance Gay, Nicolas Duvauchelle with his wife Chloé Roy, but also Julie Gayet – who came for her TV film Olympe, a woman in the revolution – or even Odile Vuillemin for the upsetting Reports (to be discovered soon on France 2), among others.

Then came the ceremony, hosted by the particularly inspired comedian Antonia De Rendinger, who gave the audience in the room a lot of laughter. Over the course of the evening, 15 prizes were awarded, including two Télé-Loisirs Audience Awards: the best single award, given by readers to the fiction The Bodins investigate in Corsicaand that of the best series given to the Negotiator with François-Xavier Demaison, whose season 2 was announced by TF1. Another highlight was the presentation of the best actor award, given to not one, but two actors: Nicolas Duvauchelle and Guillaume Gouix for Fortune of Francebroadcast from this Monday, September 16 on France 2 opposite BroceliandeThe award for best actress went to Cécile Bois for Reportsa fiction inspired by a true story and soon to be broadcast on the second channel.

Subsequently, the award for the best 52-minute series was presented to Nismetwith Emma Boulanouar (seen in particular in Here it all begins), but the jury wanted to make a special mention to Flashbackto be discovered very soon on TF1, and with Michael Youn and Constance Gay. When this prize was announced, the latter arrived on stage explaining that her sidekick was going to arrive, that he had been absent for “go pee“, provoking hilarity in the room. A few minutes later, the troublemaker arrived to receive, with the fiction team, their prize and deserved applause. The latter seemed particularly in shape on September 14 since later, during the traditional closing night, he – to the great delight of all – sang his hit Put on your hood during a giant karaoke!
