A return to school marked by new features on the airwaves of France Bleu Auxerre

-

For its 25,000 daily listeners, France Bleu Auxerre has concocted some new features to mark the start of the school year on the airwaves.

“The teams have done a lot of preparatory work. Many things have changed on our schedule,” explains François Guiseppi, the director of France Bleu Auxerre for the past two years. One of the changes concerns the local slots. “We are still on air from 6 a.m. to noon and then from 1:30 p.m., compared to 4 p.m. previously.”

Flashes and music

The rhythm has also changed. “We are more in tune with the times. It is more fluid, more dynamic, more modern.” 100% local news flashes are offered during the morning show. “The afternoons are very musical. We consider that music is content as much as an interview,” continues the director.

“Highlighting heritage and initiatives”

Weekends are notably marked by large “local news, music and good humor” slots. The AJA always has a prominent place in the programming with “programs every day around the flagship club, including a decryption with Lucien Denis.”

Catherine Marchesin continues her show We are good here. “We are going to meet 18 municipalities. There are many little-known corners. The idea is to highlight heritage and initiatives. It is participatory: we ask listeners to vote for their favorite municipality on our site.” Olivier Bordes talks about the Circuits courts. “A way to highlight local know-how.”

The changes are on the airwaves but also on the France Bleu Auxerre site, Place Saint-Amâtre. Work has been underway since the beginning of 2024. By the end of November, the teams will benefit from two new studios and two recording booths.
